ABOUT US
Malfe Film is an independent film production company based in Turin, founded by Enrico Giovannone and Matteo Tortone in 2016. The name comes from a provocation by Roman Polanski, who at the 2008 Torino Film Festival described Cassavetes films as mal faits poorly made an expression the founders reinterpreted as a symbol of creative freedom and experimentation. Malfe Film is dedicated to the production and co-production of international creative documentaries and auteur films, actively participating in European and international markets and pitching forums, including: CPH:DOX Market, When East Meets West, Thessaloniki Agora, MIA Market, Milano Film Network, Nebulae (DocLisboa), Ventana Sur, and the European Film Market.
