SOMETHING ABOUT US

At Malfé Film, we believe in cinema as a shared journey — a way to cross borders and tell stories that shed light on hidden corners of reality. Since our foundation in Turin in 2016, we have dedicated ourselves to creative documentary and independent cinema, combining artistic freedom with solid production expertise. Our films have been selected and awarded at major international festivals. Mother Lode, a co-production with France and Switzerland, premiered at the Venice International Film Critics’ Week and received the Eurimages Lab Award at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. In 2024, A Million Grains of Sand by Andrea Deaglio, produced by Malfé Film, won the Mercurius Prize for its innovative approach to therapeutic narration. And in 2025, Domenica Sera by Matteo Tortone, co-produced with EiE Film and Imago VFX, received the David di Donatello Award for Best Short Film. Alongside production, we provide services in executive production, editing, and post-production, supporting filmmakers in every stage of the creative process. For us, each project is more than work — it is an encounter, a collaboration, and an opportunity to make meaningful stories resonate with audiences worldwide.
