Policy

Environmental, social and production responsibility

Last updated: 26 August 2026.

General principles

Malfe Film develops and produces films, co-productions and cultural projects, seeking consistency between editorial choices, working methods and relationships with the authors, partners, communities and places involved.

Sustainable production

In productions and co-productions, where compatible with the scale of the project, the countries involved and operating conditions, Malfe Film uses sustainable audiovisual production protocols, including Green Film criteria, as a reference.

A lightweight website

The website is static: it does not use WordPress, databases, public administration panels, analytics, tracking pixels or profiling cookies. This reduces maintenance, the attack surface, server resource use and unnecessary code loading.

Video content and external services are presented as links or previews activated by the user. Images are kept lightweight where possible without sacrificing the quality needed to present the films.

Social responsibility

In projects with universities, institutions, associations, archives and communities, Malfe Film works to build clear, respectful relationships that can be sustained over time. This concerns both the public outcome and the process through which the project is made.

Equality, gender and inclusion

Malfe Film promotes respectful, non-discriminatory working environments, with attention to gender, origin, age, orientation, disability and social and cultural circumstances. Within the practical constraints of each production, the company supports inclusive working practices and thoughtful use of images, words and representation.
